Heritage Quest Online now Available

Indian Lake Library cardholders can now use  new genealogy data bases. Use your library card bar code to log in here to Heritage Quest. Additionally,  Ancestry.com is soon to be available for use in the library.  Research your family history online. This collection assembles every extant U.S. federal census, banking and military records, genealogies, local histories, primary source materials, and genealogical and local history serials. Purchased for residents in Hamilton, Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties through a generous grant from Senator Hugh Farley, New York State Central Book Aid and the Southern Adirondack Library System

Greetings of the Season!

The library will be closed December 25, 26, 27, 28 and will reopen on Monday, December 29 at noon.  We will be closed January 1 and 2 too! Snow closing policy

Please get your books before it snows!  When the Indian Lake School closes, the library will be closed.  This also includes snowy evenings. Yes, it looks like we will be in for some nasty weather, so please call first to check if we are open, BEFORE your visit to the library!

It’s Your Money Postponed until 2/28

The Saturday Financial Literacy Program has been postponed until Saturday, February 28, 2015 and will be held from 9 am to 11:30 AM at the Indian Lake Library and 1:00 PM-3:30 PM at the Lake Pleasant Library.  This program about tax refunds, credits, identity theft and more is still free and open to all.
