WRITERS’ GROUP NEWSLETTER JULY, 2015 D. Bradley

Our Wednesday meeting rolls around quickly when surrounded by a busy summertime schedule of events.  However, there is no more pleasant way to spend a summer afternoon than in our library sharing stories with our writing friends.  It is here that time slows down, affording us an opportunity to enjoy each others’ written experiences, and always be inspired by the variety and skillful presentations of our friends around the table.

Summer Reading Fun

The next program for children will be on Tuesday, July 14, with a showing of Pocohantas at the Indian Lake Theater at 10 am.  This follows a story hour last week of several biographies of the Native American Princess and Hero which were all slightly different. Was John Smith her true friend?  Looking forward to the movie to see their interpretation of history!

It’s Thursday

and for the first time we are open!  We’ll be open Thursdays, 10-1 through the summer. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10-4, 7-9; Tuesdays 10-3; Thursdays and Saturdays 10-1. Closed Sunday. Wifi and Verizon cell  available 24-7

Whoops! Lights Out! Story time confusion!

Apologies from the Librarian!  The correct date for summer reading program story time/movie kick- off is July 7 but there will be a story time added on June 30 at 10.  Sign up for summer reading is open and reading records are now available. Lights are on and we are open again
