Join us at the Indian Lake Library Saturday May 12th 11am-noon for a fun class on Vermiculture (also known as worm composting). Vermiculture is the use of worms to decompose food waste, turning that waste into nutrient rich material that in turn can nourish & sustain plant growth! Who knew worm poo could be so AWESOME?!? Attendees will learn how to make and maintain a worm compost system for the home. Tipsfor caring for our wiggly friends and harvesting their “black gold”. A must see for anyone who wishes to reduce waste and improve how their garden grows. Please RSVP at the library or call (518)-648-5444.
