Wednesday Superhero Program CANCELED

The presentation on bats as superhero has been cancelled!   So plan on attending the Friends of the Library Program on the history of Indian Lake at the Indian Lake Theater. Indian Lake History Program, “Did you know…?”

The Friends of the Indian Lake Library will host Town Historian, Wayne Blanchard, on Wednesday, August 5th, 7:30 PM at the Indian Lake Theater.  Wayne will share his Indian Lake secrets.  Come with questions. This event is free and open to all.  Refreshments will be served.

Book and Bake Sale this Weekend!

Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26, the Friends of the Library will hold their book and bake sale at the Indian Lake Town Hall.  Want to help out?  Friday, 9 am, the Friends are gathering.  If you can sort or carry boxes of books, please come on down!

WRITERS’ GROUP NEWSLETTER JULY, 2015 D. Bradley

Our Wednesday meeting rolls around quickly when surrounded by a busy summertime schedule of events.  However, there is no more pleasant way to spend a summer afternoon than in our library sharing stories with our writing friends.  It is here that time slows down, affording us an opportunity to enjoy each others’ written experiences, and always be inspired by the variety and skillful presentations of our friends around the table.
