Tales from the North Country
Friday, July 25, 2008, 2:00 PM. Please join us for this FREE family program!
The Adirondack Mountains are full of opposites, high mountains and deep valleys, fast streams and slow rivers, brave patriots and brave loyalists, short stories and tall tales. Storyteller Nancy Marie Payne weaves yarns, legends and around-the-camp-fire mysteries. She is a member of the Story Circle of the Capital District, the National Storytelling Network, The Interfaith Story Circle of the Capital District and the League for the Advancement of New England Storytellers. This free program is being underwritten by the Story Circle of the Capital District through funds raised by their annual storytelling concert, TELLABRATION.

Writers Group meets
The writers group will be meeting on Wednesday, Februrary 27 at 1:30 at the library. Nancy will be on hand to help digitize your poems, so if you haven’t been able to email them here’s your chance to get it on the computer!

Saturdays are for Stories
Children are invited to story time every Saturday at 11 am. The informal program usually lasts about a half hour. Call before coming to check the schedule
