Join us at the lovely Byron Park Pavilion in Indian Lake on September 15 from 4:30 to 6:00 for “The Important Work of Honey Bees” presented by the 2021 American Honey Princess.
The 2021 American Honey Princess, Virginia, serves as a national spokesperson on behalf of the American Beekeeping Federation, a trade organization representing beekeepers and honey producers throughout the United States.
At the workshop, Virginia will be speaking about a variety of honey bee topics, which include, jobs of the worker bees, importance of the beehives, and the different products we can get from bees.
This program is made possible through the Cornell Cooperative Extension.
It’s free to attend and walk-ins are welcomed, but please RSVP to reserve your spot. You can RSVP by calling the Cooperative Extension at (518) 548-6191.
