Mindfulness Workshop: Coping Mechanisms for Anxiety @ Indian Lake Library online

Our resident Mindfulness Guide Jodie Seymour has prepared another great workshop on Mindfulness. This event will take place online Thursday, February 18th at 7 pm.

The series we began with Jodie in 2019 is back, and this workshop’s topic is a timely one in these uncertain times: Using Mindfulness to Cope with Anxiety.

Jodie is an educator at the Johnsburg Central School and has done extensive training in the field of Mindfulness Practice.  Her workshops have been well received by our patrons. Jodie’s generous nature and calm demeanor bring a welcoming, inclusive dynamic to our gatherings.  It is always a relaxing time, and an opportunity we hope you won’t miss.

During this workshop Jodie will help us identify our anxiety triggers and offer ways to tame them so they don’t prevent us from enjoying and participating fully in our lives. Her workshops conclude with a 5-10 minute mindfulness meditation to help us center ourselves.
