DEC Forest Ranger Jay Scott will be at the library Saturday June 29th at 11am for a presentation on wilderness safety.

Jay will share stories from his years as a ranger that will highlight how survival in the wilderness depends on thinking ahead and being adequately prepared.

Whether you are a seasoned hiker, paddler, or a novice to the outdoors, this program will have advice worth hearing, because as we all know, anything can happen.

He will also touch on what equipment you should have to safely enjoy recreation in the Park.

Jay has a wealth of knowledge about this area, and years of experience helping people in the wilderness when the unexpected occurs. We hope you can join us for an informative morning.
