We are starting an informal, drop in program at the library to help patrons with technology questions.
If you have a technology issue with a device, stop by the library Thursdays beginning May 11 anytime between 1 pm and 2 pm.
Staff will work with you to help you solve your technology problem. If we don’t know the answer, we will try to find it with you.
This is not a device repair service, so please do not bring a device expecting work to be done on it. We cannot do that for you.
What we can do is help you figure out why Libby isn’t working on your device, or show you how to download an app, or how to use Hoopla, or how to figure out some tips for your smartphone and tablets. We are also happy to assist you using our public computers to use Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Publisher–all free of charge!
On Tuesdays we are holding classes that do require registration, and each week is about a specific topic. More information on these Tuesday events can be found here: https://indianlake.sals.edu/calendar/
